Welcome to Portobello Primary School.
Portobello Primary is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve; our children are at the heart of every decision we make.
Through our engaging curriculum, we ensure that children foster a passion for learning and a curiosity that will develop high aspirations and a lifetime of happy memories. At Portobello Primary School we strongly believe in the power of a growth mindset. We believe that ALL children have the ability to achieve what they want to achieve.
Everything we do encourages our children to understand that intelligence can be developed. Our children see school as a place to develop their own abilities, they think of challenges as opportunities to grow.
Our school has a dedicated team of staff who work hard to reach high standards. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard you as an active partner in your child’s education and value your interest and support.
Please do read our weekly newsletter for the latest developments in school. We warmly welcome any visits and would be delighted to show you our school in action.
